When mosquitos attack...

I had a shoot scheduled with this sweet family last weekend. When we arrived at the location we had initially decided on it was like some kind of horrendous plague. I kid you not, the second we got out of our cars mosquitos attacked. It. Was. Awful. Even after living in Alaska where the mosquitos are giant, I have never seen so many mosquitos surround a group of people so fast, & so relentlessly. Needless to say, we scratched that plan & found this park instead. It turned out absolutely beautiful & much more tolerable than the first place. I did, however, feel awful about all of the giant bug bites they were now sporting for their shoot. Thankfully they were total rockstars about it, & we still had a blast. I love how this shoot turned out. The colors, the smiles, the family were picture perfect.
