Class of '23
As I was driving home from this session the other night I was reminded of the phrase ‘babies don’t keep.’ I’ve heard it several times since becoming a mom & the reality of what this quote is saying plays out right in front of you as you watch your baby grow. As a photographer, people bring me their babies. Whether they’re 8 days old or 18 years old. It’s truly the best job & an absolute honor to be tasked with capturing these moments in time. The truth is babies don’t keep, & this reality is essentially why I have the job I do. Because moms & dads everywhere, wish they did keep. Moms & dads everywhere want to freeze time, hold on, & cling to these sacred moments in their babies lives. It’s an absolute joy watching your baby grow, but the gift of photography is being able to hold on a little bit longer. While babies don’t keep, when a parent looks at your newborn photos or your senior photos, all they see is their precious baby.
Those are my deep thoughts for you on this beautiful September evening.
Congratulations to this beautiful soul! Your smile is radiant, & I loved capturing these for you!
