Parade of Lights

This last weekend we had the parade of lights here in town. I love going. My kids love going. It's just a cold, exciting time.

This year a friend of mine asked if I could try &  get some shots of her in the parade. Her name is Mianna Wick. She's insanely nice & super sweet.

SHE'S A RACE CAR DRIVER! 

Not like go-carts or when I race people at stoplights in my trailblazer...I mean real.race.car.driver.

When I met this girl racing became a whole lot cooler to me!

Anyway, I told her I'd try & see what I can get at the parade. The conditions don't scream "Photoshoot!"

Nonetheless, I chased her down main street and got a couple decent shots to share.

It was a a great time & I absolutely adored watching my sweet girl get so excited about the marching band! By the end she was waving & saying "Merry Christmas!" It was insanely precious.
